Can I self study for a NEBOSH qualification?

Every learner must register with an Accredited Learning Partner and undertake all the relevant learning before taking an assessment and gaining a NEBOSH qualification.

The learning experience is an important part of achieving a NEBOSH qualification. You will not be able to simply pass an assessment – we want you to gain knowledge and practical techniques that add value to the profession, to individuals and to business.  

Learners must register with a NEBOSH Accredited Learning Partner to ensure study is focused on the right learning outcomes and to help prepare for assessments. Only learners who have completed their studies with a NEBOSH Accredited Learning Partner can be registered to an open book examination. NEBOSH therefore does not accept learners that have self-studied.
