As the word count is for guidance purposes only, you will not be penalised for going over or under the recommended amount. 

Please be advised your overall word count should be no more than +10% of the recommended word count.

Please note you are being assessed on relevance and quality rather than quantity of words. The recommended word count is there to aid learners in focusing on the subject and context requirements of the digital assessment and to avoid digression into areas that are not mark worthy.
