I have received an unknown Verification request of my certificate. Do I approve or deny this request?

Modified on Fri, 13 Feb at 8:40 AM

If you were not expecting anyone to verify your certificate, you can simply deny the request or ignore the email. It is entirely your choice whether to approve or decline this request.

If no action is taken, the request will automatically expire after two working days. The requester will then receive an email advising them that their request has expired and that NEBOSH is unable to verify the certificate.

Please be assured that no information about your certificate will be shared unless you choose to approve the request, so no further action is required from you.

Official approval request emails will only ever be sent from Veri‑Secure (noreply@nebosh.org.uk).
Further details for this service can be found on our NEBOSH Online Verification Page.

For further guidance on our Verifications procedures please see our Verifications Page.
