My Certificate has been stolen. How can I report this concern?

Modified on Fri, 13 Feb at 9:35 AM

Please be advised any reports on Fraudulent activity including Fraudulent Certificates must be reported directly to NEBOSH by completing the Report Fraudulent Certificate/Activity Form.

To minimise the risk of fraudulent duplication of Certificates and Parchments they are printed on security paper that includes watermarks and a hologram. Certificates and Parchments are individually numbered. NEBOSH maintains records of all Certificate and Parchments issued and reissued. Once a replacement has been issued, the original Certificate will no longer be valid.

For all certificates issued after 1 September 2024, the master log number is now printed on the back of the certificate. This update has been done as a security measure to protect the master log numbers if learners wish to post their certificates online.

If an original certificate which has been reported to NEBOSH as lost or stolen is later presented to NEBOSH for authentication it will be identified as invalid.
