What can I use my certificate for?

Modified on Fri, 13 Feb at 11:33 AM

Certificates provide proof of achievement and are valuable documents that should be kept safe.

Employers, professional bodies and academic institutions may ask to see Unit Certificates and/or overall Qualification Parchment as evidence of the award holder’s achievement.

NEBOSH strongly advises against posting certificates online or making reference to any identifying numbers relating to your studies, such as your learner number or certificate reference number. Please ensure that all details and documents that are personal to yourself are stored in a secure location only accessible by yourself. For all certificates issued after 1 September 2024, the master log number is now printed on the back of the certificate. This update has been done as a security measure to protect the master log numbers if learners wish to post their certificates online.
