Can I request how my name will be printed on my unit certificate and/or qualification parchment?

Prior to registering to undertake a NEBOSH examination or enrolling on to the National or International Diploma your Learning Partner will ask you for formal identification. For example; passport, driving licence or identity card.

NEBOSH do not accept preferred names for use on Certificates/Parchments. Use of legal names ensures the Certificate (and any replacement Certificate required) is issued to the correct learner and enable the learner’s achievement to be verified in future if requested by the learner, their employer, or attestation service against photographic ID.

Unless formally requested NEBOSH will issue Unit Certificates and Parchments using the European naming format. In cases where another naming format is preferred, learners must advise their Learning Partner when registering to sit their examination.

Changes to the naming format must be requested via the Change of Details Request Form. before examination results are issued. Requests after the results declaration date may incur a fee.

Below is an example of the international naming formats NEBOSH is able to undertake.

Title    Mr

First    Daniel
